Support

Orca Software provides excellent technical support for its products. There is no limit to the number of times a user may call nor do we limit the time of a call. If required dial up service will be initiated into a customer’s site via computer to resolve or review a problem.

Annual support fees also include maintenance and enhancement releases

Training

Initial training is provided with the installation of Claimen and/or iClaimen. On site training for Claimen requires five days. It is based upon a ‘train the trainer’ concept and up to 8 users can be trained during one 5-day training session. First day of the training will be focused on the duties of the manager and the set up of codes, users with establishment of authority and authorizations. The remaining four days will concentrate on the use of all licensed modules and reports.

Training is also available at the customer’s site on as required basis and scheduled at their convenience. iClaimen requires one day of on-site training after Claimen training is completed.

Enhancements

Enhancements to our software products are released once or twice a year depending upon the complexity of the improvements. Maintenance released may be done more often if the urgency of the software correction requires such timing.

Claimen or iClaimen enhancements are developed on a priority system that is established by the user group. All customers are given a chance to submit ideas for improvements to the applications. These new concepts may be global for the product in general or specific to one company. All ideas are considered, written up and distributed to the user group for evaluation.

Enhancements to the system may come about as a specific need for one user and if this is such the case it may be worthwhile to provide a custom enhancement for this request. Most common type of single user enhancement is direct interface into their policy system or accounting system connection. See Consultation Services.

Conversion

Orca Software can provide a custom conversion of all current claims at the time of installation so that you will be able to begin with your current open (or historic) claims at start up time. Cost of conversion is determined upon a case by case basis.

Additionally Claimen contains a module to enter pre-Claimen claims with balances via manual data entry. This is a manual solution and is completely user driven.

Consultation Services

Orca Software provides consulting services for systems analysis to organization that may or may not use Orca’s products in order to document in house applications and/or aid in the design of new applications.

Custom programming services are available to all users of Claimen products where specialized interfaces or reports are required. Enhancements may vary and Orca will always provide the most efficient and cost efficient solution to fit the requirement. Upon receipt of the specification a review will be made, and an estimate of cost and completion time will be provided for review and approval.
